B. DePaul Law 2026 Symposium on Governing Technology

DePaul University College of Law’s Mary and Michael Jaharis Health Law Institute will host its 2026 Health Law Symposium, Wired Minds, Legal Lines: Governing Neurotechnology, on March 12, 2026, in Chicago, with in-person and virtual participation options. The program will examine the legal and ethical implications of neurotechnology and brain–computer interfaces (BCIs), including issues in health law, criminal law, privacy and data governance, neurorights, and intellectual property and competition. The symposium will feature leading scholars and practitioners, including a keynote by Francis X. Shen (Harvard Law School / MGH Center for Law, Brain & Behavior).
