Professor Jennifer A. Chandler is seeking an outstanding LLM graduate to join the interdisciplinary NeuroSpeech project as a PhD student in Law at the University of Ottawa. This research opportunity explores the legal, human rights, and disability implications of communication neurotechnologies, including brain-computer interfaces, in collaboration with researchers across law, ethics, neuroscience, engineering, and clinical sciences. The successful candidate will receive a project-funded stipend and join a collaborative team working to embed human rights into the design and regulation of emerging neurotechnologies. Applicants should have an excellent academic record, strong legal research and writing skills, and an interest in neurotechnology.
