New Book in Law and Neuroscience: A Primer on Criminal Law and Neuroscience

Oxford University Press has recently published A Primer on Criminal Law and Neuroscience, a groundbreaking collection edited by Adina L. Roskies and Research Network Member Stephen J. Morse.  The Primer is among the major milestones reflecting significant financial support from the MacArthur Foundation to the Law and Neuroscience Project and the Research Network on Law and Neuroscience (www.lawneuro.org).

Roskies and Morse assembled a team of exceptional scholars in the fields of law and neuroscience to analyze the conceptual issues and evidence surrounding neuroscience in criminal contexts.  The result is a landmark handbook that introduces the intersection of criminal law and neuroscience as a significant, provocative development in the justice system.
